Business Development Manager

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is a high energy, relationship building individual who enjoys working with clients. They have a proven track record of successfully building relationships, developing new relationships, developing new business and increasing revenues. 

 

They will grow the maintenance division of Landmark Landscape Group by providing legendary service as the main point of contact for our clients.  This will be accomplished by the retention of existing clients and the addition of new clients.

  • Building relationships, qualifying customers, developing new business from cold calls and referrals and selling value of the many landscape services we provide.

  • Adept at qualifying sales leads and managing customer relationships throughout a proven sales process. 

  • Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with field, office and management personnel to resolve problems, recognize opportunities and maximize profits. 

  • Meet with all new clients to establish maintenance contracts.  

  • In a timely fashion, prepare complete, clear and concise reports, proposals, agreements and other required company paperwork: maintain written information relative to delays, changes, special conditions and schedules, etc.  

  • Create compelling sales presentations in person and via email.  

  • Set expectations, make notes and provide suggestions for client properties.  

  • Ensure all jobs are kept on schedule and on budget.  

  • Partner with the Operations Manager to provide proactive communication to clients.  

  • Ensure all billing and client account information is accurate and up to date.  

  • Perform regular, documented site visits to ensure production standards are being met.  

  • Upsell existing clients to pursue full service, monthly contracts & enhancement offerings.  

  • Investigate service and landscape issues, provide proper solutions in a timely manner.  

  • Research vendor product offerings, pricing and stay up to date on industry trends.  

  • Develop relationships with subcontractors to quote and produce work for our clients.  

  • Maintain and renew all service contracts with the assistance of the team.
